Demam BoyBand dan GirlBand

Kalian tau kan sekarang ituuu sedang demam Boyban dan Girlband di Indonesia .. hmm, salah satunya akan kita bahas yaitu GirlBand Mascara. Belantika musik tanah air kembali diramaikan oleh pendatang baru. Setelah 7 Icons, CherryBelle kali ini adalah giliran sekelompok girlband yang menamai diri mereka dengan Mascara. Mascara terdiri dari empat orang wanita, yaitu Cintia, Syana, Flo dan Adonia.

Girlband yang sudah terbentuk sejak akhir Maret tahun lalu itu memilih jenis musik Pop Dance sebagai genre musik mereka. “Karena kita ingin menunjukkan bakat dance kita maka kita mengusung musik pop dance, tapi juga da sentuhan RnB-nya sedikit,” kata Syana menguraikan.

Dengan modal kemampuan tari dan bernyanyi yang dimiliki mereka, keempatnya pun yakin kalau keberadaan Mascara cukup memberi kesegaran di dunia musik. “Kita ingin membuktikan kalau kita girlband yang beda dari yang sudah ada dengan memaksimalkan kemampuan nari kita tanpa mengesampingkan kualitas vokal kita,” ujar Syana usai pembuatan video klip mereka di kawasan Jakarta, kemarin.

Tidak hanya menampilkan tarian dan nyanyian, masing-masing personil Mascara ternyata juga membuat karakter sendiri-sendiri untuk diri mereka agar lebih mudah dikenal. “Karakter itu dibentuk dari pribadi kita sehari-hari seperti apa. Aku enerjik, Flo itu kalem, Syana itu girlie dan Cintia lebih cuek,”
